(hereinafter referred to as "Hydrogen Air Technology") completed tens of millions of Yuan A+ round of financing, this financing is led by SAIC Hengxu, the old shareholders Xinghua Dingli, Shimmer Venture Capital over-investment, to promote the company to deepen the development of air-cooled fuel cells in the direction of the whole industry chain, such as aviation, vehicles, ships, power supply, and so on, and KPMG as the FA.


Founded in November 2017, Hydrogen Air Technology is a high-tech enterprise with air-cooled hydrogen fuel cell R&D and application capabilities, focusing on the diversified applications of lightweight air-cooled fuel cells, which are currently applied in the fields of drones, small vehicles, power supply, industry and ships.


Since its establishment, Hydrogen Air has completed the industrialisation layout of air-cooled fuel cells in the field of hydrogen-powered drones, and the commercialisation progress is leading in the industry. 2021, Hydrogen Air has reached a cooperation with State Grid's Zhejiang Shuangchuang Centre to jointly develop Hydrogen Thunder, a hydrogen-powered drone for fine inspection of power grids. The Hydrogen Thunder flew for 2 hours and 25 minutes in Wenzhou, successfully completing the autonomous inspection of Wenzhou's 500kV Wangnan Line corridor.By the end of 2022, State Grid listed hydrogen-powered drones as one of the several key technological directions for power grid inspection, and plans to set up demonstration zones in some provinces. The "Hydrogen Timing" power inspection drone, which is a collaboration between Hydrogen Air Technology and the Double Innovation Centre, was listed as the first batch of hydrogen-powered drones in the demonstration area in Zhejiang Province. In addition, Hydrogen Air also won the bid for the development of the State Grid's own brand of drones.





At present, Hydrogen Air Technology's hydrogen-powered UAV has passed the testing and certification of two CNAS laboratories, the Ministry of Public Security III and the Chinese Academy of Electric Sciences, with its minus 20°C operation indexes in the global leading ranks, and its measured wind resistance is as high as level 7 after layers of rigorous testing before the wind tower. As China's first and only hydrogen-powered UAV certified by the Chinese Academy of Electric Sciences, Hydrogen Air Technology's UAV products have been widely used in the fields of power grid inspection, oil and gas pipelines, wind power plants, emergency search and rescue, and so on. At present, the company has established co-operation with domestic top users such as State Grid, China Pipe Network and PetroChina.


Through continuous independent innovation and application exploration, Hydrogen Air has also expanded the application of air-cooled fuel cells to the automotive industry. 2022, Hydrogen Air's self-developed hydrogen fuel cell stacks passed the Shanghai Automotive Inspection Centre's Automotive Inspection Certification, and the air-cooled stacks' starting speed of 1.8 seconds further verified the excellent reliability of Hydrogen Air's products. In the same year, Hydrogen Air and Kaiyun Automobile officially reached a cooperation to provide hydrogen power solutions for their small logistics vehicles. After months of development, in June 2023, Kaiyun's first hydrogen-powered logistics vehicle was officially approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and has been gradually put into use in Beijing and other places. Hydrogen Air Technology, as a hydrogen power system supplier, has signed an order for the first 1,000 units for mass production with Kaiyun Automobile.




 

Under the guidance of the core strategy, the products of Hydrogen Air Technology are showing the trend of "multi-flowering" in many industries. The company's two-wheeled vehicle fuel cell has been recognised by domestic customers, and the head of the two-wheeled vehicle enterprises in Shanghai, Shanxi and other places to cooperate in the exhibition of two-wheeled vehicles and hydrogen power system for vehicles, and will be in Shanxi, a place to put the first batch of hydrogen-powered bike sharing. Recently, Hydrogen Voyage Technology has cooperated with Feifan to develop a hydrogen-powered ship, which has the features of non-pollution and low noise, without the need to build refuelling and charging facilities on the shore, and is expected to be launched for use in November this year.


In addition, the company is also actively planning to layout the overseas market. At present, the company's 550W, 1700W two types of automotive fuel cells have passed the CE test, and many customers in South Korea, Australia, Germany, Norway, India have begun to purchase small quantities. Meanwhile, the company strives to launch one million sets of household hydrogen energy storage equipment at the level of one million sets in the next five years, so that overseas users can completely detach from the grid and independently solve the problem of long-term energy storage to cope with the wide range of long-period renewable power fluctuations.


Hydrogen is the ideal solution to address end-to-end long term energy storage. From the perspective of distributed energy end-to-end energy storage applications, hydrogen power brings a reliable, environmentally friendly, and economical strategy for the long-cycle, high-efficiency storage and utilisation of renewable energy. In the future distributed renewable energy-based power grid, energy storage will be more distributed end-of-line energy storage applications.
